The Brass Slotted Weight Carrier Only, Economy, 50 g and 100 g, also known as a spare slotted weight hanger or brass mass carrier, is designed for use with compatible brass slotted weight sets in laboratory and educational experiments. These spare carriers are suitable for physics classrooms, school science laboratories and teaching laboratories requiring replacement carriers for compatible slotted weight systems.
The 100 g economy brass slotted weight carrier is listed to suit LC-80-GE5705-01 and LC-80-GE5705-03. The 50 g economy brass slotted weight carrier is listed to suit LC-80-GE5706-01 and LC-80-GE5706-03 only. The rod diameter for this option is listed as 6 mm.
These carriers allow compatible brass slotted weights to be stacked onto the rod, helping students build selected loads during approved experiments. They are useful for lessons covering mass, force, gravity, tension, pulleys, springs, levers, friction and general mechanics.
