Pressure Equalizing Funnel is designed for controlled addition of liquids into a closed reaction system where smooth, predictable flow is essential. The pressure equalising side arm allows air or vapour to balance between the funnel and the receiving vessel, preventing “glugging” and sudden surges that can cause splashing, foaming, or loss of temperature control. This makes it ideal for additions into sealed assemblies, inert gas lines, vacuum workups, and exothermic reactions where stable dosing improves both safety and repeatability.
Manufactured from high quality LabChoice BORO 3.3 borosilicate glass, the funnel offers excellent thermal stability, low thermal expansion, and strong chemical resistance to common laboratory solvents and reagents.
