The PTFE Joint Sleeves for Standard Taper, also known as PTFE joint sleeves or grease-free ground joint sleeves, are designed to fit between compatible standard taper ground glass joints. These sleeves provide a thin PTFE interface between glass joint surfaces, helping create a cleaner joint connection without the need to apply grease during compatible laboratory setups. The sleeves are listed with a 0.5 mm wall thickness and are supplied as a pack of 3, making them practical accessories for routine glassware assembly, vacuum setups and chemical apparatus work.
They are suitable for compatible applications where users want to reduce joint sticking, improve separation after use and help reduce leakage rate in approved high vacuum glassware assemblies.
