Description
The Cork Ring Support for Round-Bottom Flasks, also known as a flask base or cork ring, is designed for supporting round-bottom flasks when they are placed on a bench or laboratory surface. Round-bottom flasks cannot stand securely on their own, so a cork ring provides a practical support base for handling, filling, weighing, cooling or temporary placement during compatible laboratory workflows. These cork rings are listed with well-sanded voids, perfectly parallel sides and concentric bores, helping provide stable positioning for compatible round-bottom flasks and dishes. All rings have a listed height of 30 mm, with an inside edge bevelled finish to support better seating of suitable glassware.
The rings are available in several sizes and finish grades, allowing users to select a suitable option based on flask capacity, outside diameter and laboratory handling requirements. This product is useful for school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories, research facilities, chemistry laboratories and preparation rooms where round-bottom glassware is used regularly. Users should confirm flask size, ring ID, ring OD, bench stability, glassware condition and application suitability before use. Cork is not suitable for direct flame contact or excessive heat. Keep away from burners, hotplates, open flames and incompatible chemicals unless the use has been assessed and approved.
Glass flasks should be handled carefully when placed on or removed from the cork ring to reduce tipping, impact or breakage risk. This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate supervision. This item is supplied as the selected cork ring support only. Round-bottom flasks, dishes, clamps, stands, heating mantles, burners, PPE and additional laboratory accessories are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies Cork Ring Supports and laboratory glassware support accessories for school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories, research facilities and chemistry laboratories requiring practical bases for round-bottom flasks and dishes.
