The Inoculating Loop Holder, 200 mm, also known as a microbiology loop holder or smear loop holder, is designed for use with compatible inoculating loops in laboratory and educational settings. An inoculating loop is commonly used by microbiologists to retrieve a small amount of inoculum from a microorganism culture and transfer it for approved microbiology procedures. When fitted with a compatible loop, the holder can be used for culture transfer, plate streaking, smear preparation and microstreaking demonstrations.
The overall length is listed as 200 mm, providing a practical handling size for teaching laboratories and routine microbiology bench work.
