Description
The Glass Tube Connector, T Shape, also known as a T-shaped glass tubing connector, is designed for joining compatible flexible tubing in laboratory and educational apparatus setups. This connector has a listed 7 mm OD, making it suitable for compatible tubing where the internal diameter, flexibility and grip match the glass connector dimensions. The T-shaped format is useful for three-way tubing arrangements where one line needs to connect with a side branch or where compatible air, gas or liquid pathways need to be split or combined.
This connector can be used in suitable laboratory demonstrations, preparation setups and apparatus assemblies where the complete tubing system is compatible with glass connectors. Users should confirm tubing inner diameter, connector OD, T-shape layout, chemical compatibility, liquid or gas type, pressure condition and full apparatus setup before ordering or use. Final length and branch dimensions for the T-shaped connector are not supplied, so these should be confirmed before use in size-critical apparatus. Glass tubing connectors should be handled carefully. Avoid impact, twisting force, bending load, sudden temperature change and forcing tubing onto the connector.
When fitting tubing, use approved technique and suitable hand protection where required. Broken glass can create sharp edges and should be cleaned up using approved laboratory procedures. Do not use with pressure, vacuum, hazardous gases, flammable vapours or incompatible chemicals unless the complete system has been assessed and approved.
This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate supervision. This item is supplied as the selected T-shaped glass tube connector only. Flexible tubing, clamps, stands, glassware, pumps, valves, chemicals, PPE and additional laboratory accessories are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies Glass Tube Connectors and laboratory tubing accessories for school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories, research facilities and educational laboratories requiring practical junction fittings for compatible tubing setups.
