A distilling apparatus fitted with a Friedrichs condenser is designed for high efficiency condensation during distillation and reflux processes where enhanced cooling performance is required. Manufactured from premium LabChoice BORO 3.3 glass, the apparatus provides excellent thermal stability, low thermal expansion, and strong chemical resistance in accordance with ISO 3585 and ASTM E438 Type I laboratory glassware standards.
The Friedrichs condenser features an internal spiral cold finger that maximises surface area for heat exchange, delivering rapid and consistent condensation of vapours across a wide range of solvents. Interchangeable precision ground joints allow secure, leak free assembly with compatible boiling flasks, distillation heads, and receivers, supporting stable operation under continuous heating and repeated thermal cycles. Smooth internal glass surfaces promote uniform vapour flow while reducing hold up and sample loss during distillation.
