This tube is made from borosilicate glass and is listed with a 6 mm outside diameter and 1.5 mm wall thickness, making it suitable for approved glassblowing, forming and tube manipulation procedures. The 6 mm OD format provides a fine tubing option for controlled glassworking tasks where smaller diameter tubing is required for scientific, educational or demonstration applications.
This tubing can be used for heating, bending, shaping, forming and creating compatible functional glass pieces when handled under correct glassworking procedures.
