At LabChoice, we aim to deliver your order quickly, safely, and cost-effectively — whether you’re ordering a single piece of glassware or sensitive laboratory equipment. The information below outlines how we process, ship, and manage deliveries within Australia and worldwide.

1. Order Processing

In-stock items are processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation.
Backordered items will trigger an email notification with estimated restocking and dispatch dates.
• Processing times are separate from delivery times — freight transit depends on the carrier, location, and service chosen.

2. Shipping Charges

• Shipping costs are calculated based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.
• Large, fragile, or hazardous goods may incur special handling fees.
• Orders to remote or rural areas may attract courier surcharges as determined by our freight partners. We recommend contacting us before placing your order if unsure.

3. Dangerous Goods & Special Handling

Some products — particularly certain laboratory equipment or hazardous materials — may be classified as Dangerous Goods and require extra packaging, documentation, and transit arrangements. Additional costs and extended delivery times may apply.

4. International Orders

• Shipping fees are calculated prior to dispatch based on weight, dimensions, and location.
• Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and clearance fees.
• LabChoice is not responsible for customs clearance delays or goods refused entry into a destination country.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, we will email you tracking details so you can monitor your delivery progress and estimated arrival.

6. Returned Parcels

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or unclaimed status, re-shipping fees will apply.

7. Order Cancellations

Orders cancelled after they have been picked and packed will incur a 20% restocking fee.

8. Click & Collect (By Arrangement)

Pickup is available for select orders at our Melbourne facility by prior arrangement. Customers must present:
• A valid photo ID matching the order details.
• Order confirmation email.
