Separating Funnel is designed for clean, controlled liquid–liquid extraction and phase separation where chemical resistance, clear layer visibility, and dependable flow control are essential. It allows two immiscible liquids to be mixed, settled, and drained in a controlled manner, supporting routine washing steps, solvent extractions, sample clean-up, and reaction workups across teaching, research, and industrial QC laboratories.
Manufactured from high quality LabChoice BORO 3.3 borosilicate glass, the funnel offers excellent thermal stability, low thermal expansion, and strong resistance to a wide range of laboratory reagents and solvents. BORO 3.3 glass performance aligns with recognised borosilicate standards such as ISO 3585 and ASTM E438 Type I, supporting dependable durability under day to day laboratory handling.
