Description
Compact IEC transformer based power sources for low voltage laboratory equipment, supplied as either DC only outputs at 6V and 12V or AC only outputs at 6V and 12V, with a total load of 4 amps. Both versions include a mains power cable and feature self resetting overload protection on each output that trips above 4 amps and resets when the overload is removed. Use cases noted include DC motors and electromagnet experiments for the DC model, and Hodson light box plus low voltage microscope lamps for the AC model, with the AC unit sized to fit the reserved compartment in the styrene foam housing.
