- Description
Description
An ether condenser, also referred to as a cooling condenser, is designed to efficiently condense low boiling solvents and volatile vapours during distillation, reflux, and cooling operations. Manufactured from high quality LabChoice BORO 3.3 glass, this condenser offers excellent thermal stability, low thermal expansion, and strong chemical resistance, meeting ISO 3585 and ASTM E438 Type I laboratory glassware standards.
The straight tube cooling design promotes smooth vapour flow and effective heat exchange when connected to a circulating coolant source. Precision ground joints ensure secure, leak free connections with distillation heads, reaction flasks, and receivers, maintaining system integrity under continuous operation. The smooth internal surface minimises solvent hold up and supports rapid condensation, making it well suited for ether based solvents, volatile organics, and temperature sensitive compounds.
Supplied by LabChoice Australia, this ether cooling condenser is widely used in university laboratories, research facilities, teaching environments, and industrial R&D settings across Australia. Its durable construction and reliable condensation performance make it an essential component for routine distillation, solvent recovery, and controlled cooling applications where consistency and safety are critical.
