Drechsel Gas Washing Bottle with Interchangeable Joint Head is designed for efficient gas scrubbing, drying, and absorption where controlled gas contact with a liquid reagent is essential. Commonly used for trapping acidic or basic gases, removing impurities, humidifying gas streams, and protecting vacuum pumps or sensitive instruments, the Drechsel bottle directs incoming gas through a dip tube into the washing solution to generate fine bubbling and improved gas–liquid contact. This supports more effective absorption and consistent treatment of gas streams in teaching laboratories, research synthesis, and industrial QC environments.
Manufactured from high quality LabChoice BORO 3.3 borosilicate glass, the bottle provides excellent thermal stability, low thermal expansion, and strong chemical resistance to a wide range of scrubbing solutions and reagents. BORO 3.3 glass performance aligns with recognised borosilicate standards such as ISO 3585 and ASTM E438 Type I, supporting dependable durability during repeated heating and cooling cycles and daily laboratory handling.
